Bilingual (English/Spanish) Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily production operations while ensuring productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. This position provides direct supervision, training, and performance management for hourly employees and ensures compliance with food safety programs, company policies, and established procedures.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies, GMP requirements, and safe work practices.
• Maintain production standards to ensure quality, productivity, and established yield goals are met.
• Monitor employee timekeeping and ensure payroll transactions are accurate and discrepancies are resolved.
• Manage employee performance by providing coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback when necessary.
• Train, develop, and provide direction to hourly employees.
• Promote a positive and consistent team environment.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, food safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Must be able to work various shifts and hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with employees, management, and other departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Three or more years of previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Poultry industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in cool temperatures, including areas around 32°F.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to use hands to handle, control, or operate objects, tools, or equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, arm, and wrist motions throughout an 8–10 hour workday.
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs as required.
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl as required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
