What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator Accounts Payable position at Gemma Services?

Responsible for performing various duties to support the accounts payable function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments/divisions; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.
Performs various duties to support the accounts payable function of which the following are illustrative:
- Processes invoices: perform coding and verification, obtain signatures, enter data, etc.
- Prepares Accounts Payable reports and maintains master files.
- Performs all monthly Accounts Payable closing procedures.
- Responds to various vendor inquiries; sets up and maintains vendor information.
- Assists in preparing 1099s.
Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent with emphasis in business or accounting.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' related experience is normally required.
Remote, with periodic attendance required onsite at the Plymouth Meeting campus or other selected venue for conferences and/or meetings (approx. 3-4 a year)
The first month will involve in person training at the Plymouth Meeting office.
