Position – Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter
The Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter is a funded position that is classified as supporting an administrative support department for the Regional Care Group network. The incumbent hired will represent Regional Care Group network on official communications.
Position Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is primarily responsible for recruitment-related functions and serves as the main point of contact for hiring activities across assigned business units. The majority of this role is dedicated to full-cycle recruiting, onboarding coordination, and pre-employment processes. Additional responsibilities include credentialing, employment requirements, HRIS data management, and administrative HR support. This position works fully on-site.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary recruiter, managing full-cycle recruitment for multiple positions simultaneously
- Coordinate job postings, recruitment advertising, applicant tracking, and job fair participation
- Screen applicants, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate candidate selection and offers
- Maintain recruitment databases, applicant files, and hiring status reports
- Communicate regularly with hiring managers regarding recruitment progress and staffing needs
- Enter and maintain accurate recruitment and employee data in HRIS systems
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the HR department as needed
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, confidentiality standards, and organizational policies
Pay:
$45,893.14 - $60,808.41
Location and Hours:
8400 Louisiana St. Merrillville, IN
Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- One year of recruiting experience
- Ability to manage high-volume recruiting and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- This position is fully in office and requires regular on-site presence to support recruiting operations
