The Custodian position is classified as a supporting department for the Regional Care Group network. The incumbent hired will represent Regional Care Group network on official communications.
Position Purpose
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment at two of our Head Start Centers.
Training will be done at our corporate center located at 8400 Louisiana St. Merrillville, IN.
Hours: Monday-Friday 2:00pm -10:30pm

Pay: $15.00 -- $17.25 an hour
Essential Functions:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal area
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with setting up and breaking down facilities for events
- Notify management of any repairs needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license/insurance
- Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Candidate must be able to provide professional references
