- PURPOSE AND MISSION
- Ensure unrivaled customer service for all customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as team members within the company.
- EXPECTATIONS:

- Establish, create, implement, and reinforce procedures to ensure efficiency throughout customer service.
- AUTHORITY:
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on an assigned product or service.
- Process credits, debits, returns, and freight claims for all business divisions.
- Ensure all processes are completed efficiently, which include taking orders, shipping, and invoicing.
- Provide timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
- Uses knowledge of a specific product, service, or other assigned area of expertise to answer inquiries or to forward to the appropriate staff.
- Process customer orders/changes according to established department policies and procedures.
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
- QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience required
- Microsoft Office Applications experience, required
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them in a high-pressure environment
- Wood coatings knowledge, preferred
- Be flexible to perform customer service-related tasks.
- Be willing to spend significant time on the telephone.
- Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Have or gain an understanding of Open Book Management and manage by the principles thereof.
- Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity, and honesty.
- Be mature, flexible, and self-motivated.
- Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance, manner, and dress according to acceptable standards set by the company.
