If you have Retail or other professional Framing/Framing Management experience and are looking for a 'regular' work schedule (Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - no weekends!), we have a great opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Custom Framing Operations Assistant to join our team.
In this position, as part of our dynamic team, you'll play a crucial role in the Custom Framing Department. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Become a workflow expert in the Full Calc System (framing estimating and scheduling framing software).
- Enter framing orders as they are approved by the Project Management Team.
- Responsible for artwork intake and accurate recording of inbound and outbound artwork.
- Assist in the management of production and WIP logs, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
- Collaborate with the Project Managers on what they need to make working with the frame room and generating business easier, and more streamlined.
- Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Oversee Showroom Appointments.
- Assist with Client Meetings and prepare orders.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities, working with the team to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Custom framing experience a strong plus.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Framing Software (Full Calc or other) a strong plus. .
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a hands-on environment.
