We’re Hiring: Accounting & Operations Administrator
📍 Naperville, IL | Full-Time | In-Office
DJK Custom Homes is a family-owned custom homebuilder seeking a highly organized Accounting & Operations Administrator to join our team. This role is central to our day-to-day operations and will take over responsibilities from a valued team member who is stepping away to spend time with her new baby.
What you’ll do:
- Manage daily accounting tasks in QuickBooks Online (AR/AP, checks, deposits, journal entries, reconciliations)
- Handle construction draws, sworn statements, waivers, and trade payments
- Support closings, title coordination, and job/loan setup
- Manage Buildertrend billing, selections, change orders, and subcontractor setup
- Coordinate permits, HOA submittals, rebates, and vendor documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Assist with insurance, audits, and new employee onboarding paperwork
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in construction, real estate, or development accounting
- Strong QBO skills
- Buildertrend experience
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and entities
- In-office availability in Naperville
