Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and can confidently manage multiple priorities across projects, vendors, and internal teams.
You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to help keep projects on track, ensure seamless communication, and support purchasing and administrative processes that directly impact production timelines and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Project Coordination
- Track project progress and follow up with engineers on timelines, updates, and workflow status
- Support production scheduling and ensure projects stay on track
- Execute and follow up on action items from weekly production meetings
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and vendor performance
Purchasing & Vendor Management
- Coordinate with vendors on orders, materials, and services
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and timelines
- Support procurement processes to ensure timely availability of materials
Administrative & Team Support
- Maintain organized digital and physical records, databases, and documentation
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, and internal communications
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding project status
- Support day-to-day office operations including supplies, phones, and general administrative tasks
Customer & Internal Communication
- Serve as a key point of communication between engineering, operations, vendors, and customers
- Maintain professional, responsive communication across all stakeholders
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Exposure to engineering teams or technical projects

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
