Industrial Metal Polisher

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Metal Polisher to perform surface finishing and polishing of metal parts and equipment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with stainless steel, carbon steel, or metal fabrication in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools to polish, buff, paint and finish metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect finished work for quality, consistency, and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Work independently or as part of a team on production deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper protective equipment.
• Assist with packaging, labeling, or finishing tasks as needed.
• Report any defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• 3 years of metal polishing or similar experience
• Ability to use grinders, buffers, polishers, and hand tools.
• Ability to identify different materials, finishes, and grades.
• Ability to identify visible defects.
• Ability to follow directions and work well without direct supervision.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
