The Warehouse Lead is responsible for materials management, inventory controland shipping/receiving at one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships that carries multiplebrands of equipment, parts and supplies. The ultimate goal of this role is to successfully manage the dailyoperations of all facets of the Warehouse.Duties and Responsibilities• Direct activities of the Warehouse.• Serve as the primary lead for all pick-up, shipping and receiving activities.• Insure customer service and service areas are maintained to the highest levels for all pick-up anddelivery activities.• Ensure Company vehicles and equipment are maintained on a regular basis according tomanufacturer specifications.• Direct and participate in the bin location maintenance of all areas of the Facility.• Train and manage warehouse personnel, including those in receiving/shipping, delivery, and fleetdriver roles.• Communicate and train Warehouse personnel on Company policies and procedures regardingthe safe and proper movement/handling of any product.• Ensure proper training of personnel handling Company inventory to be in the most professionalmanner and to minimize damages and losses; training inclusive of forklift, appliance lift and Drivertraining.• As directed by Sales Center Manager, responsible for inventory managementRequired Qualifications• Minimum 1-2 years Warehouse operational experience• Proficiency in wholesale distribution .• Proven success in purchasing and inventory management.• Proven success in managing and mentoring other employees.• Must possess the attitude of wanting to learn and grow with our Company.• Mechanical or Technical background.• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.Company DescriptionGemaire is a subsidiary of Watsco, Inc., (NYSE: WSO) the world’s largest independent distributor of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, parts, and supplies.
