Gem Care is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager – P.E. to join a well-established engineering firm in Knoxville, TN.
This is a high-level leadership opportunity for a Professional Engineer with extensive Water/Wastewater experience who is ready to lead projects, manage engineering staff, build municipal client relationships, and help grow the firm’s presence throughout East Tennessee.
Key Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• 15 years of Water/Wastewater engineering experience
• 3 years of engineering project and/or personnel management experience
• Strong understanding of water and wastewater planning, design, and permitting
• Experience working with municipal clients
• Valid driver’s license
Project Experience May Include:
• Water and wastewater treatment facility planning and design
• Raw water intakes
• Water distribution systems
• Booster pump stations
• Lift stations
• Sanitary sewer planning and design
• Regional water planning
• Water system mapping and management plans
• Asset management planning
• Permitting
The Senior Project Manager will operate in a seller/doer capacity—developing client relationships, advising clients on project direction and resources, managing a small engineering team, and reviewing and signing off on the team’s engineering work.
