The Role
We are looking for a creative and technology-literate Business Development Associate to join our team in our Boca Raton office. This is a hands-on role focused on sourcing and acquiring non-performing first mortgages on small commercial properties and businesses.
You won’t just be "dialing for dollars"—you will be crafting professional business proposals, building long-term relationships with banks and private lenders, and making aggressive, data-driven offers on debt portfolios.
What You Will Do:
- Outreach: Proactively reach out to banks, credit unions, and private lenders to source non-performing mortgage notes for sale.
- Negotiation: Analyze debt opportunities and make formal offers to purchase 1st mortgages.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture a network of brokers, lenders, and investors to generate a consistent lead flow.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute plans to target high-potential markets and segments for mortgage acquisitions.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams on due diligence, underwriting, and closing processes.
- Technology Utilization: Use CRM software and modern digital tools to track prospects, manage your pipeline, and maintain detailed activity records.
