What You’ll Do

Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Mechanic at ProAmpac, you’ll play a key role in supporting our production operations by ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our machinery and facility systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure
- Troubleshooting issues with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Completing work orders and prioritizing tasks based on urgency and production needs
- Collaborating with internal departments and external vendors to coordinate repairs and installations
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance tasks, projects, and completion timelines
- Following all safety procedures and contributing to a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Working independently and taking initiative to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in equipment and facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, plumbing, and HVAC
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices and CMMS software
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and follow instructions, technical manuals, and schematics
- Physically able to bend, stretch, climb, and lift/move up to 50 pounds
