Essential Duties And Tasks
- System Administration: Manage and oversee the company’s travel and expense platforms to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Financial Execution: Perform core accounting procedures, including the timely processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial analysis.
- Data Integrity: Maintain precise accounts and reports, including the setup of new accounts and the management of system-wide information.
- Reporting & Accruals: Assist in identifying required month-end accruals and prepare supplemental details for monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Audit Readiness: Prepare comprehensive schedules and documentation to support the company’s annual financial statement audit.
- General Ledger Management: Perform regular reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts to ensure balance and accuracy.
- Departmental Support: Provide cross-functional assistance as required to maintain the continuous efficiency of the accounting department.
- Education: HS/GED required.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in a related accounting or clerical field.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
- Confidentiality: Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and protect sensitive financial information.
- Organizational Excellence: Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet rigorous deadlines.
- Professional Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with executive leadership, staff, and external clients.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Strong judgment and decision-making skills; able to identify process gaps and develop viable solutions.
