Job Summary
GELITA USA is seeking qualified individuals to fill the position of Technical Services Laboratory Internship in our Sioux City, Iowa location. Working in the Technical Services Laboratory this position will perform testing, participate in projects, conduct chemical inventory, do dishes, and cleaning the lab.
Support the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000 management systems and the Quality, Environmental, and Food Safety Policy as appropriate in the function.
Essential Functions
- Conduct chemical inventory, perform testing, participate in projects
- Cleaning the lab, do dishes
Job Requirements
The preferred candidate will have:
- 1-2 years of college with some chemistry/biology completed courses
- Previous experience working in a chemical laboratory setting is a benefit
- Attention to detail. Must be able/willing to work in a chemical laboratory setting and wear required PPE (lab coat and safety spoggles)
