Gelato Maker and Supervisor

Position is for our Gelato & Co Katy, located in La Centerra.

The company is expanding rapidly and therefore we are looking for people who are willing to grow with us!

We're looking for GELATO MAKERS with potential to become SHIFT LEADERS. Full time must be available to work mornings/afternoons and nights and have previous customer service/supervisior experience.

The ideal candidate for this position would be:

• Confident in using Espresso Machines – Know how to manage the groups, froth milk and run weekly maintenance
• Managerial experience – Know how to manage stock levels and ordering, understand daily workflows and how to manage a team
• Perfect customer service – Be able to adapt to every customer and ensure that every customer is receiving the best possible experience in our Gelaterias
• Kitchen experience – Know how to manage a kitchen, such as cleaning, organisation and preparation
• Creativity – Have an eye for detail, we produce side products such as Gelato cakes, Popsicles and much more, all need to have eye catching decorations
• Availability – We are looking for someone who is able to work weekdays and both Saturdays and Sundays. The supervisor will be working alongside the Store Manager to ensure smooth running of the shop

Roles of the position:

• Making the Gelato – Using only the best equipment available and training by some of the best Gelato Chefs you will gain knowledge of how to manage the Gelato Kitchen and produce Gelato fresh every day
• Stock management – Alongside the Store manager , you will help to ensure that we have everything necessary for the daily workings for the shop
• Team leader – You will be in charge of ensuring that staff are kept up to date with shop procedures and how to make products in the front of house
• Front of House Server – You will help to serve Gelato, Coffee, Pastries and take payments

As a growing company and with a strong funding from owners and investors, we are looking to open many more shops Nationally, therefore we are looking for people to grow with us. Pay & Incentives

Starting Pay: Negotiable hourly wage Card & Cash Tips divided between staff dependent on hours worked. Usually this adds an extra $4-$7 an hour

Salary: Hourly wage negotiable based on experience

Typical Working Hours: 25-35 hours a week

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
