Executive Director – Hospice
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead the overall operations and strategic direction of our hospice program. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong team leadership.
The ideal candidate brings clinical leadership experience, strong operational management skills, and a passion for compassionate end-of-life care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of hospice operations, including clinical services, administration, and compliance
- Lead and support interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to support organizational growth and performance
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and hospice regulatory requirements
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and operational efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, referral partners, and community organizations
- Recruit, mentor, and develop staff to maintain a high-performing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Active RN license required
- 5 years of clinical experience, preferably in hospice or home health
- Leadership or management experience within a healthcare setting
- Strong communication, operational, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of hospice regulations and best practices
Pay Range for Posted Region
$110,000 - $130,000 USD
