Pay: $22.50 Base Shift Differential

Overview
Reporting to the Batching Manager, the Environmental Cleaner is responsible for maintaining sanitation standards across the facility by following SSOPs and documenting all activities. This role ensures the highest levels of food safety, quality, and compliance while adhering to GMP, safety, and company policies.
What You’ll Do
- Follow all SSOPs to complete sanitation tasks safely and effectively

Clean interior and exterior areas of the plant in all weather conditions
- Includes walls, floors, ceilings, vents, lights, piping, and equipment surfaces
- Respond to emergencies such as chemical/water spills and tank cleaning
- Perform cleaning at heights using ladders, scissor lifts, and scaffolding
- Operate forklifts to remove trash and clean dumpster containers
- Clean using COP tanks and other sanitation equipment
- Empty trash, clean receptacles, and replace liners throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness of compactor areas and chemical storage cages
- Monitor inventory and restock sanitation supplies
- Perform chemical titrations and ensure proper chemical usage
- Apply HACCP and sanitation knowledge to support continuous improvement
- Document all tasks on the Master Sanitation Schedule
- Participate in training, meetings, and team initiatives
- Support additional duties as assigned
What You’ll Need
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to safely work with industrial cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Flexibility to work up to 10-hour shifts, including weekends
- Ability to work at heights and in varying environmental conditions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace
