Our firm is looking for a part-time seasonal Administrative Assistant to join our collaborative and people-first team who is detail-oriented, has strong technical skills, is a quick learner and can be relied on to get the job done.
Job Summary:
This position will support the office administrative lead in gathering and organizing tax-related information, assist clients with copies and documents, and perform general office tasks. You will help maintain our firm’s high standards of client service while working collaboratively with our team.
Qualified candidates will need at least 1 year of administrative experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service to clients by being courteous and friendly.
- Manage the front desk phone system; answer phones and direct calls as needed.
- Maintain and update information in company tax workflow system.
- Assemble paper tax returns.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties such as scanning, copying, and saving documents digitally.
Qualifications:
- Must have a high level of technical proficiency using computer programs and software including Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must have some administrative or office experience
- Previous experience using accounting software and working in a CPA firm preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Alternating between sitting at a desk and working on a computer and standing to access the copier/scan/fax machine
- Occasional standing for long periods will be necessary
- Normal office hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Some overtime will be required
- Occasional work-related errands may be required
Job Types: Temporary, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
