Controller
The GEE Group has partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a highly capable, hands-on Controller to lead their financial operations. This role is ideal for a versatile leader with deep experience in both financial and manufacturing accounting.
What You’ll Do:
Financial Leadership and Reporting
• Oversee all financial reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, accuracy, and efficiency
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, variance analysis, and inventory reconciliation
• Partner closely with operations to monitor production costs, job costing, and plant performance
• Conduct margin analysis and support pricing decisions with accurate product costing
• Improve and maintain systems for labor, overhead allocation, and key manufacturing metrics
• Support operational teams with financial insights related to scrap, yield, efficiency, and throughput
Systems and Operational Support
• Manage ERP and financial systems. NetSuite experience is a plus
• Streamline reporting, dashboards, and real-time visibility for leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements and capital investment decisions
• Provide financial leadership for audits, tax filings, and compliance initiatives
What We’re Looking For
• Strong background in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and financial leadership
• Proven ability to partner with operations and influence decision-making
• Experience managing full-cycle accounting in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• NetSuite or similar ERP experience is highly valued
• A hands-on, adaptable leader who can balance daily execution with strategic oversight
Compensation and Benefits
• $100,000 to $150,000 base salary, depending on experience
