ATTENTION ALL HARDWORKING, HANDS-ON WORKERS! George Gee Liberty Lake has an exciting opening for any individual who is mechanically inclined and is interested in starting a long-term career in the automotive industry. We are actively seeking Apprentice Technicians to join our service department! Our Apprentice Technicians work closely with our Certified Technicians to assist and to learn from. The Apprentice Technicians help our Certified Technicians with what they are doing in the moment and in return, the Certified Technicians get to teach our Apprentices a thing or two. This position is specifically for an individual who would like to eventually become a Certified Technician – please keep in mind that this is not a short-term plan, and it will take a few to several years to achieve. The ideal candidate would have prior experience working on cars, not professionally typically, and would have a go-getter attitude.
Apprentice Technician Job Responsibilities
- Performing oil changes.
- Working with and assisting a Certified Technician.
- Tires, brakes, basic routine maintenance
- Performing light express vehicle maintenance.
- Assisting the service department and technicians as needed.
Apprentice Technician Benefits and Compensation
- $18-$23 per hour.

Qualifications
Apprentice Technician Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
- Basic automotive knowledge.
- Driver’s License.
Corporate hiring requirements: 18 years or older with a clean driving record, valid driver's license, able to pass criminal background, and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
