What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer / Operator position at Gebhart and Sons Grading?
Local General Contracting/Excavation company looking for reliable and trustworthy individual capable of operating small equipment and installing electrical conduit, sewers/waters, and residential service gas line. Ideal individual will be capable of working in a two to three man crew and ensuring on time installation of gas, water, sewer, and electric services. Equipment experience needed would be skid steer and mini excavator.
Must have drivers license and have or be able to obtain medical card for driving company vehicles. Must be able to pull trailer and equipment under CDL requirements.
Paid vacation based on tenure. Some manual labor is required by all employees including operators.
Requirements for Pipe Layer/General Laborer:
Must have valid drivers license and be able to pass drug test and physical
Must be able to perform manual labor
Must be willing to learn
Additional Preferences:
Ability to work 40 hours including Weekends when needed
Previous experience with residential gas is a plus, but not required.
Good personal skills a plus
Competitive pay rate based on experience and ability. Willing to consider a candidate without operating experience if they have the drive and desire to learn. Training opportunities and advancement possibilities available.
