CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision gears according to specifications.
- Interpret and utilize engineering drawings for accurate machining.
- Assist with developing machining processes and problem-solving for turning/milling operations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage approved tooling inventory.
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to implement process improvements.
- Evaluate product processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- 3–5 years of experience operating CNC equipment.
- Experience with Mazatrol and Fanuc controllers preferred.
- Knowledge of close tolerances, ISO, and SPC processes helpful.
- Ability to work day or night shifts as required.
- Ability to commute to our Syracuse, NY facility.
