As part of the Product Operations team, you will work at the intersection of engineering, technology, operations, and customer-facing organizations to ensure manufacturing readiness and hardware availability. The position may be based in Lynn, MA or Evendale, OH, with collaboration across multiple GE Aerospace sites and global suppliers.

Role Overview

The Sr. Principal Product Operations Leader – CTE is responsible for driving hardware readiness and delivery performance across all CTE product lines. You will serve as a strategic hardware specialist and process improvement leader, owning critical interfaces between Engineering, Technology & Operations, Supply Chain, and customer-facing teams. In this role, you will lead cross-functional efforts to resolve constraints, optimize manufacturing and supply strategies, and mentor other hardware owners to elevate execution across the portfolio. This role reports to the CTE Product Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead hardware execution across CTE product lines by interfacing between project teams, engineering, and supply chain at the part-number and supplier level, including managing multiple parts and suppliers where needed.
  • Support customer delivery and performance communications by partnering with Product Operations Leaders and the Product Operations Director on part-specific and process-specific deep dives.
  • Develop and implement supply strategies for assigned hardware, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and initiatives that impact more than one CTE product line.
  • Identify and resolve constraints that impact Clear to Build (CTB) and Operational Output Targets (OOT) for engines and spares, using data-driven analysis and structured problem solving.
  • Represent manufacturing in key governance forums, including Program Control Board (PCB), tollgate reviews, and technical reviews for assigned hardware or central processes.
  • Apply sound judgment and technical expertise to solve complex tasks, make data-supported decisions, and prioritize actions across multiple programs.
  • Use data to target the most impactful problems across CTE product lines and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts that result in implemented and sustained countermeasures.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues with less experience, both within and outside the CTE organization, sharing best practices in product operations and hardware ownership.
  • Communicate effectively across functions and levels, building consensus and influencing outcomes in a highly matrixed environment.
  • Travel as needed to support on-site engagement with vendors and partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing programs or product operations,
    • or 10 years of experience in related fields such as procurement, planning, manufacturing, quality, or fulfillment.
Desired Characteristics

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to lead in a matrixed environment and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including experience communicating with executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using structured problem-solving methods.
  • Proven experience leading programs or projects in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Established project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and risk management.
  • Experience in production planning and/or master scheduling.
  • Experience working within the GE Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Experience in NPI manufacturing and source change management.
