Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for Corporate Holdings sites in the US and International Portfolios (~150 sites)
- Key responsibilities include partnering with the ops team to ensure reserve ask requirements are met and strategizing/understanding the future of the sites to support ops in most effectively move the site through the remediation process.
- Quarter and monthly close responsibilities include GE Corporate Environmental Programs (GCEPS) system maintenance, report generation, account reconciliations and team support.
- Key contact for auditors and responding to audit and DR requests for their site portfolio.
- Operational partner of the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) remedial subledger ‘GCEPS’ and partnering with IT where needed to build in enhancements and generate reporting requests. This ownership entails all elements of system maintenance and support.
- Will lead special projects as identified
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Prior Experience in EHS accounting, operational controllership processes, including account reconciliations, chart of accounts, intercompany transactions, and external reporting.
- Minimum 5-10 years of strong financial analysis and/or controllership experience
- Experience working in global business environment with a strong understanding of Company chart of accounts, systems, and consolidation processes
- Prior account reconciliation experience, strong understanding of controls
- Excellent teamwork skills; collaborative approach with peers and team members
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills and experience working in a global team environment
- Data relationship system experience
- FLIGHT DECK/Lean experience
