GD Resources, LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Gas Systems Inspector to support an upcoming contract opportunity at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.
The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting annual inspections, testing, and documentation of medical gas and vacuum systems in accordance with NFPA 99, CGA C-9, VHA Directive 7515, and applicable federal regulations. The Inspector will ensure healthcare facility systems are operating safely, accurately labeled, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Gas System Inspection & Testing- Minimum Qualifications
- Current ASSE 6020 Medical Gas Inspector Certification
- ASSE 6030 Medical Gas Verifier Certification
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Minimum three (3) years of experience inspecting medical gas systems.
- Experience performing NFPA 99 compliance inspections.
- Experience working in hospitals, healthcare facilities, or VA Medical Centers preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and system schematics.
- Thorough understanding of NFPA 99 requirements.
- Knowledge of medical gas and vacuum systems.
- Familiarity with CGA C-9 labeling requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and inspection skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic reporting systems.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Department of Veterans Affairs facilities.
- Must comply with all VA security, identification, and facility access requirements.
- Must successfully pass any required background screening.
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Excluding Federal Holidays
