Our work depends on Software Developer Sr Advisor joining our team to support the NAWCWD mission at Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu. HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT · Design, develop, document, test, integrate, and modify software for database systems and integration of those systems with airborne electronic warfare systems · Develop, create, troubleshoot, and modify specialized utility programs and applications in support of real-time systems · Perform hardware and software development planning in the incorporation of modifications into aviation systems · Study information needs; conferring with users; study systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigate problem areas; follow the software development lifecycle · Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions · Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code · Help to lead and mentor other software engineers and developers to perform and assist in their duties as required. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
