About the role
We are a growing device lifecycle and logistics company in Elizabeth, NJ, minutes from Port Newark. We test, repair laptops, phones, and other electronics. We are hiring one hands-on, tech-savvy person to own our e-commerce and repair bench, and help build it as we scale.
This is a hybrid role, and it is all of it, every day. Listing inventory on eBay and answering buyers and testing and repairing chromebooks, laptops, desktops and phones at the bench. You move between them as the work demands, and you will be trusted to run your area without someone standing over you.
What you will do
- Test, diagnose, and repair devices: screens, batteries, keyboards, chargers, ports, cosmetic work, and basic board-level fixes as you learn
- Receive, test, and grade incoming devices, keeping inventory organized and labeled
- Create and manage eBay listings: photos, accurate descriptions, condition grading, pricing
- Handle buyer questions, returns, and customer service on marketplace platforms
- Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately, print labels, and keep shipping records clean
- Follow written processes and quality checks
- Help improve how we work as we grow: better systems, better organization, less chaos
What we are looking for
- Tech savvy, period. You are comfortable opening a device, figuring out what is wrong, and finding the answer online when you do not know it
- Hands-on repair experience with phones, laptops, tablets, or similar electronics, professional or personal. If you have fixed your own or friends' devices, tell us
- Experience selling on eBay or another marketplace, or strong willingness to learn it fast
- Organized. You like things labeled, sorted, and put back where they belong
- Clear written and spoken English for customer messages and team communication
- Reliable and self-directed. You show up, you follow the process, you flag problems early
- Able to lift 40 lbs and be on your feet in a warehouse environment
