Role Summary
This position is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and End-to-End (EE2E) testing activities within a Medicaid modernization initiative. The successful candidate will serve as a key quality assurance partner, ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and supporting the delivery of a modern, interoperable Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Responsibilities
- Lead UAT activities for Medicaid applications, ensuring systems meet business requirements and CMS standards.
- Manage and coordinate UAT testers, stakeholders, and defect resolution processes to ensure timely and quality testing outcomes.
- Drive EE2E testing for Medicaid workflows, validating the entire Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), including claims, eligibility, and provider modules.
- Identify, develop, and execute EE2E test scenarios and cases in collaboration with vendors and subject matter experts.
- Create and oversee enterprise EE2E testing plans, ensuring workflows across systems, databases, and third-party APIs are validated.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor testing quality and overall project health, providing insights to program stakeholders.
- Perform detailed test analysis, including functional performance, automated, ad-hoc, and manual tests, supporting continuous improvement.
- Support and oversee testing within the Snowflake cloud data platform, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and vendors to mitigate testing risks and scope adjustments.
- document and communicate testing results, issues, and recommendations to ensure project compliance and success.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in quality assurance, test management, and validation of large-scale enterprise systems.
- 2 to 3 years of experience utilizing AI tools for EE2E testing, API testing with open-source automation tools, and Snowflake data platform testing.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience testing Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
- Proven expertise in developing comprehensive EE2E test strategies and creating relevant data sets for testing.
- Extensive experience with ETL testing, including data validation and performance within cloud data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of MMIS workflows, web-based application testing, and Azure DevOps operations.
- Familiarity with software design patterns, object-oriented programming, and agile methodologies.
- Ability to lead multiple testing teams and coordinate across vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate QA concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience working on multi-vendor projects, managing testing schedules, and delivering results under tight deadlines.
