- Execute RF certification testing for DOCSIS-based equipment, independently identifying and resolving complex, cross-system issues.
- Generate detailed test reports, analysis summaries, and certification documentation for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and interpret test results to identify root causes across multiple systems and technologies, providing clear, actionable technical recommendations.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain advanced RF test and measurement equipment, including Averna and ePIDoX PHY test systems, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and related tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define specifications and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs), execute test plans, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Provide technical leadership for small project teams supporting certification initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and technicians on RF testing methodologies, equipment usage, and troubleshooting practices, using both formal training and hands-on coaching.
- Stay current with DOCSIS standards, RF technologies, and cable industry trends to help guide test strategy and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
