Essential Functions Of The Role
- Interface with plant staff on a daily basis to include management of the Houston, TX team of plant operators
- Interface with the Logistics Manager & Operations Supervisor/Lead to troubleshoot plant/product issues
- Oversee the receipt, sorting and planning all incoming sales and orders
- Serves as the customer contact when needed
- Troubleshoots logistics related problems
- Responsible for the management of a small team of plant opertors, buyer, bulk load planner, and operations analyst to include the training, day-to-day duties & performance reviews
- Serve as the point of contact for any plant issues for this location
- Oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Programs and compliance for the production site, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while driving a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement
- Drive the successful planning, execution and timely delivery of capital projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of experience, Required
- Strong aptitude for basic math and attential to detail in sequential work, Required
- Experience in a manufacturing plant, Required
- Basic understanding of computers and computer-controlled equpment, Required
- General knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and the Internet, Required
- Able to read and write in English, Required
