Position Overview
The Executive Sales Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support directly to the President of GCD Sales. This pivotal role requires exceptional organizational and technical skills to ensure seamless day-to-day operations and effective coordination of sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and coordinate the President’s calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
· Arrange complex travel itineraries, including transportation, accommodations, and logistics for both domestic and occasional international trips.
· Utilize SalesForce to generate reports, track sales activities, and present data to the sales and executive teams.
· Plan, organize, and facilitate weekly sales meetings; prepare agendas, capture minutes, and follow up on action items.
· Serve as liaison between the President and Manufacturers, ensuring clear communication and timely responses.
· Assist with special projects, presentations, and initiatives as assigned.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
· Minimum 5 years of experience supporting executive leadership, ideally within the electrical or related technical industry.
· In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and strong proficiency in SalesForce.
· Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software or systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times.
· Proactive problem-solver and resourceful team player.
Preferred Experience
· Prior experience in the electrical manufacturing or distribution industry.
· Experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leadership.
· Demonstrated success in planning and running meetings, preparing reports, and managing executive communications.
