What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager - Cement Manufacturing position at GCC?
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering required.
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience managing maintenance in the cement industry and/or heavy industry environment.
- A minimum of 7 years’ mechanical, process, or chemical experience required.
- Working knowledge of MSHA regulations.
- Provide leadership, expertise, and technical background knowledge on maintenance related matters.
- Align maintenance inspections and plans to achieve key performance indicators and/or market demand.
- Lead preparation of major maintenance outages to be performed safe, on time, and strict following of the assigned budget cost.
- Manage the preparation of the list of sustainable maintenance capital investment for the plant.
- Provide leadership and coaching, to all employees in the maintenance department.
- Coordinate the training, and development internal plan for the maintenance department personnel.
- Responsible for development, oversight, and effective management of department budget per month to accomplish the annual goal in expenses.
- Analyze overall performance of the operation and communicate results with appropriate team members to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure the fundamental pillars of the maintenance management system: Inspection (running and not-running, scheduling, improvement, and execution on weekly, monthly and annual manner.
- Optimize overall equipment effectiveness in coordination with other departments (Production, Quarry, Quality, and Process).
- Coordinate all efforts for root cause analysis and problem-solving processes, related to equipment availability, reliability, safety, cost and environment.
