Responsibilities
- Prepare products for shipment by accurately packing items using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper stacking on pallets and safe handling of goods.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify order accuracy, packaging integrity, and compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking inventory correctly and ensuring clear pathways for safe warehouse operations.
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling techniques, and adherence to safety protocols during all tasks.Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers, including order picking, packing, shipping & receiving.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, barcode scanning for logistics, RF scanners, and warehouse management systems.
- Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks consistently.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation.
- Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leading small teams is a plus but not required.
