Position Overview
We are hiring an Armored Vehicle Mechanic / Fabricator with hands-on experience in mechanical repair, fabrication, and bodywork. The ideal candidate will have proven skills with hand tools, body tools, grinding, and will bring strong mechanical knowledge to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on armored vehicles.
- Conduct bodywork including cutting, grinding, and shaping metal components
- Use hand tools and body tools to fabricate, fit, and assemble armor panels.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical repair, fabrication,(automotive, heavy equipment, or defense industry preferred).
- Proficiency in the use of grinders and cutting tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work with hand tools, body tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Experience with armored vehicles, military equipment, or heavy-duty vehicles is a plus
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
