DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Licensing & Contracting Support
The Agent Oversight Coordinator II independently manages full lifecycle licensing, contracting, and appointment processes. This position ensures agent compliance with regulatory requirements and supports timely onboarding for distribution partners across multiple states. This role helps remove operational barriers while maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Licensing & Contracting Support
- Process producer onboarding including background screening, license verification, and state appointment filings.
- Manage renewals, terminations, and continuing compliance checks to reduce regulatory gaps.
- Identify and resolve more complex licensing discrepancies with agents and state Department of Insurance (DOI) offices.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for distribution partners regarding onboarding status, access setup, and contracting requirements.
- Provide guidance to internal sales teams on licensing rules and product authority.
- Monitor ongoing CE, product training, AML training, and best interest/suitability training requirements.
- Apply regulatory knowledge to ensure state, local, federal, and fraternal standards are consistently met.
- Prepare documentation to support regulatory audits, inquiries, or internal compliance reviews
- Monitor AML, CE, suitability, and product training requirements for continued selling approval.
- Support internal audits, market conduct inquiries, or internal compliance reviews.
- Recommend enhancements to workflow efficiently and oversight controls.
- Support quality assurance audits to validate system accuracy and compliance alignment.
- Help train new team members and serve as an internal resource for licensing processes.
- Work closely with Distribution, Sales and Member Services to support complaint business growth.
- Adhering and supporting GBU’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
- Understanding and complying with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; completing all required training; executing and monitoring controls effectively (as applicable); appropriately identifying, assessing, escalating and remediating risks, potential issues and control failures (as applicable); and reporting compliance or regulatory concerns to management.
- Understanding and conducting oneself in accordance with the Employee Handbook and preserving GBU’s brand and reputation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 23 years of experience in insurance licensing or agent compliance
- SuranceBay and LifePro experience preferred, but not required.
- Foundational understanding of compliancedriven environments is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fastpaced setting.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication abilities.
Salary : $58,000 - $62,000
