What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scale House Attendant/ Construction Clerical position at GBM Recycled Concrete LLC?
We are an established sand, gravel, concrete & asphalt recycling company with multiple locations in the Brighton, Howell, and Fenton area; looking for an attendant for our Brighton Recycle plant. Our ideal candidate is hard-working, trustworthy, on-time, dedicated, dependable, self-motivated, and eager/willing to learn. Must have reliable transportation. Must be willing to work 40-50 hours a week.
The daily routine will consist mostly of working with truckers to weigh their loads of material in and out. You will be responsible for cash transactions, enforcing quality standards and following agreed-upon procedures. Clerical work and cleaning necessary. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned. Should be a tech savvy individual who has a high degree of adaptability to adjust quickly to a change in priorities.
Job Qualifications:
- Willing to work 4 to10 hour days
- Available Monday-Friday with some Saturdays
- Must have reliable transportation to work.
- Must have computer experience and knowledge
- Basic math skill
- Knowledge of weight scales a plus
- Experience with sand, gravel, concrete or asphalt a plus
- Experience with truckers a plus
- Friendly, outgoing & trustworthy
- Must be able to pass a background check
Pay: TBD Based on Experience
