Available Shifts: Days, Nights.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Louisiana
- Knowledge of medical terminology and proficiency in performing nursing procedures.
- Experience in acute care settings is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
-Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
Skills:
- Understanding of medical terminology and documentation.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely.
