Job Summary:
GBC Advanced Materials is seeking an experienced person for Dimensional Inspection Technician in Latrobe PA. Perform all necessary operation related to inspection. In accordance with work instructions perform both visual and dimensional inspections. You will be responsible for:
- Use a microscope to perform visual inspections for defects such as cracks, broken pieces, and dye retention caused by porosity is needed
- Dimensional measurements of all features on the part taken and recorded within quality system
- Operate auto-sorting machine to remove any debris
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Use of measuring tools, Micrometers, Calipers, Indicators.
- Basic Shop Math.
- Familiarity with statistical inspection techniques such as Cp, Cpk, AQL levels of inspection.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Keyence Instant Measure system.
- Experience with MicroVu Measurement system.
Salary is up to $20.00 per hour, DOE
