Gawronski Media is a paid media agency focused on Food & Beverage and CPG brands located in Madison, WI. We help brands scale both their in-store and online sales through strategic media buying, creative development, and performance marketing.

We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join our team and help take our creative performance to the next level. This individual will play a critical role in identifying what creative is working, what is not, and how brands can continuously improve their advertising performance across multiple digital channels.
This position is expected to begin in late July or early August 2026.
The Creative Strategist will work directly with our Paid Social, Search, and Retail Media teams to develop, evaluate, and optimize creative strategies across a portfolio of Food & Beverage and CPG brands.
This individual should have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, creative trends, performance marketing, and platform-specific best practices. They should be comfortable reviewing large amounts of creative, identifying patterns in performance, and translating data into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys understanding why creative works, has strong marketing instincts, and can combine creativity with data-driven decision making.
- Analyze advertising creative performance across Meta, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Google, YouTube, and emerging platforms
- Develop creative recommendations based on campaign performance, audience behavior, and platform trends
- Identify winning creative themes, messaging angles, hooks, offers, visuals, and calls-to-action
- Create detailed creative briefs for clients, creators, influencers, designers, photographers, and video editors
- Review UGC, influencer content, static ads, motion graphics, and video creative to provide actionable feedback
- Collaborate closely with Paid Media Managers to ensure creative strategies align with campaign objectives
- Develop testing roadmaps focused on improving CTR, engagement rate, conversion rate, CPA, ROAS, and other key performance indicators
- Present creative insights and recommendations during client meetings
- Monitor industry trends and platform updates to ensure clients remain ahead of competitors
- Assist in the development of creative frameworks and best practices across the agency
- Help brands understand how creative influences both online and retail sales performance
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in digital marketing, creative strategy, advertising, social media, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Google, and YouTube advertising ecosystems
- Experience evaluating creative performance and translating insights into recommendations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple brands and priorities simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment
- Experience working with Food & Beverage, CPG, eCommerce, or consumer brands
- Agency experience preferred
- Experience managing campaigns within Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, or Google Ads is a significant plus
- Experience developing creative testing strategies and reporting on results
- Familiarity with influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and UGC content development
- Understanding of performance marketing metrics including CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate, and customer acquisition costs
- Work with some of the fastest-growing Food & Beverage and CPG brands in the country
