Job Brief
We are looking to hire a diligent and highly responsible Ready-Mix Driver to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to various customer construction sites. We are hiring for this position at all of our ready mix plants located in Hopwood, PA-Charleroi, PA-Carmichaels, PA.
The role includes ensuring that the Ready-Mix truck is properly maintained and that products are delivered on time and in spec.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced driver, familiar with construction procedures and able to follow safety rules at all times while providing top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to customer construction sites
- Maintain communication with dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions
- Inspect and maintain the ready-mix truck regularly, ensuring it is clean and in good working order
- Perform minor repairs on the equipment when necessary
- Adhere to safety procedures and rules at all times during transit and on construction sites
- Manage customer concerns and requests professionally
- Assist in the mixing process of concrete and adjusting mixt based on weather conditions, and job specifics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
