We own and operate specialty equipment to provide Chemical Cleaning, High Velocity Flushing, Air blows/Line Drying, Pigging and many other specialized services.

Job Summary

The Boilermaker is responsible for the installation of piping systems at customer sites. They work hands-on alongside the field service team to support Chemical Cleaning, High Velocity Flushing, and other IFM specialized services. The Boilermaker will report to the Project Supervisor. This Job may require significant travel, including extended stays at customer sites.

Responsibilities

· Perform bolt-up and break-out of flanged piping connections, valves, and equipment using proper bolt patterns, and torque sequences.

· Install and remove spool pieces, blinds, spectacle blinds, and spacers to isolate and reconnect piping systems for High Velocity Oil Flushing, Chemical Cleaning, and Pigging service projects

· Select, install, and inspect gaskets to ensure proper seating and leak-free connections on flanged joints

· Use torque wrenches and impact tools to make up and tension bolted connections to specification

· Read and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to identify tie-in points, blind locations, and bolt-up sequence

· Rig, align, and position pipe spools, valves, and temporary piping for bolt-up, coordinating with a rigging crew as needed

· Inspect flanged connections and fittings for wear, damage, or corrosion and recommend repair or replacement as needed

· Work hands-on alongside IFM technicians performing Chemical Cleaning, High Velocity Flushing, Air Blows/Line Drying, and Pigging services

· Ensure safety, company, customer and insurance requirements are met and followed throughout the project

· Manage internal job tracking (documentation) and continuing education to stay current with industry certifications and trends

Experience/Qualifications

· 3 years of experience as a Boilermaker or in industrial piping/bolt-up work

· Experience with flanged connections, gasket selection, and bolt torquing/tensioning procedures

· NCCER Boilermaker or Pipefitter certification a plus

· Working knowledge of ASME piping and pressure vessel codes and standards preferred

· Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint/isometric reading skills

· Strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, bend, climb, walk, and stand for long periods of time.

· Work around chemicals, including acids and bases, work around hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat.

· Climb ladders and stairs up to 170 feet in height; work in confined spaces as needed.

· Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment according to company policy (such as steel-toe shoes, ear, and eye protection, hard hat, H2S monitor, respirator/face mask)

· Work extended hours which may include evenings, inclement weather, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $1.00 per hour
