Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Real Estate Agent role. The Real Estate Agent will work with buyers, sellers, and renters to guide them through each step of the real estate process, including property searches, showings, offers, negotiations, and closings. Responsibilities include prospecting and following up with leads, conducting property tours, preparing comparative market analyses, and advising clients on pricing, marketing, and offer strategies. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts with brokerage support, coordinating inspections and appraisals, and maintaining accurate transaction records. The Real Estate Agent will also network within the community, stay informed about local market trends and regulations, and collaborate with colleagues, lenders, attorneys, and inspectors to ensure a positive client experience.
Qualifications
- Active Real Estate License (or the ability to obtain one within a defined timeframe) and foundational knowledge of Real Property concepts.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Real Estate transactions, including working with buyers, sellers, or renters.
- Sales skills, including prospecting, lead nurturing, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on ethical and client-centered practices.
- Customer Service skills, such as clear communication, responsiveness, and the ability to build trust with a diverse client base.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple clients, property tours, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfort with technology, including MLS platforms, CRM systems, email, and virtual meeting tools.
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn local Cambridge, Somerville, Boston Metro MA market trends, neighborhoods, and relevant real estate regulations.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and adherence to fair housing laws and equal opportunity principles.
