Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with flatbed configurations in oil and gas operations adhering strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Ensuring proper securing of cargo including materials and dangerous goods.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes while maintaining awareness of traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
- Transport various types of freight, drill tools , rig mats , wellheads , rental equipment ,light plants etc .
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify truck condition, compliance with safety standards, and proper load securement.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports while communicating effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or issues.
- Follow all safety protocols related to the truck , operate a manual transmission operation to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial truck driver with a valid CDL A license specializing in flatbed or tractor-trailer operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance standards, regulations, and hazard communication procedures.
- Familiarity with route driving in diverse environments including lease roads and oil and gas routes with long-distance deliveries.
- Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling for logistics companies or transportation providers preferred.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently while maintaining safety and efficiency on the road.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
