Gatling PLLC is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 5 years of litigation experience to join our growing insurance defense practice in Madison, Mississippi.

Responsibilities
- Manage insurance defense litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and coverage-related correspondence
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
- Analyze complex claims and develop strategic case evaluations
- Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and experts
- Collaborate with firm leadership on litigation strategy and case management
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in Mississippi
- 5 years of litigation experience preferred
- Insurance defense experience strongly preferred
- Alabama licensure is a plus
- Experience handling coverage matters, general liability, or SIU-related investigations is a plus
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage files independently and efficiently
