What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional #64 (40 hours a week/Nashua, NH) position at Gateways Community Services?
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a young adult with developmental disabilities. He is very charming with an infectious smile. Individual has seizures and will require a support person with experience catheterizing individual. Community activities are based on his interests and health needs. Some preferred activities are YMCA, outdoor and music related activities, mall, etc. Prior to and during the winter months individual requires less community interactions due to health needs. During this time, support person would be providing individual with residential supports only.
Certifications: Seizure activity and daily catheterization.
Language: English and Spanish
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 40 hours a week. 8 hours a day. 10 hours will be in the community, 30 at home!
Pay: $21.40/hour
