RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver curriculum, monitor, and make recommendations as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
- Effective management of the classroom and/or laboratory.
- Promote and engage in student recruitment, retention and completion goals fostering a culture of professionalism and inclusive learning.
- Monitor and assess student learning outcomes and provide timely and frequent feedback to students on academic performance.
- Participate in advisory and/or institutional committees.
- Maintain certification, continue professional development and stay current in field and/or discipline.
- Develop relationships with business and industry.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THE POSITION
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or higher in CNC PLUS at least 2 years (4,000* hours) of verified occupational experience in CNC
- Technical Diploma or higher in CNC PLUS at least 3.5 years (7,000* hours) of verified occupational experience in CNC
- At least 7 years ( 14,000* hours) of verified occupational experience in CNC
- Included in the above experience, at least 2,000 hours of verified occupational experience must be within the last five years OR at least 2 years of full-time (8 semesters of part-time) post secondary teaching experience in the occupational field within the last five years.
Other Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- Working experience with computer software systems.
- Ability to work with a diverse group of related students.
- Skilled in teaching a wide range of related subjects.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate day, evening and weekend students.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
- Employment is contingent upon an acceptable background
- Flexibility is needed to accommodate day, evening and weekend student & business needs
