Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a PRN LPN/RN for our Center Township, PA location. Schedule will vary. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications.
• Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments.
• Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered.
• Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care.
• Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage.
• Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate.
• Provides patient health education.
• Completes employee health duties.
• Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed.
• Must demonstrate good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care.
  
  

Requirements

• LPN or RN Licensure.
• CPR certified.
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• 2 years nursing experience
• Critical Care experience
• Additional Requirements
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check
• Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances
• Pass Drug
• TB Test
• Valid driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• CPR certification.
  
  

Work Conditions

• On-site at various Gateway locations
• Able to lift upwards of 20 lbs.
