Maintenance Technician - Part Time
Gateway Management Company is currently seeking a Part Time Maintenance Technician for our Hickory Run I & II apartment community located in Jacksonville, AL. This position is responsible for performing various maintenance duties necessary to maintain, repair and improve apartment communities. In addition, they work with management to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the company.

This position is responsible for performing various maintenance duties necessary to maintain, repair and improve apartment communities. In addition, they work with management to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative word orders.
- Painting apartments and common areas as needed to maintain a clean, updated appearance.
- Assisting with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
- Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Communicating effectively with residents and management regarding maintenance issues.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable maintenance experience.
- HVAC certification and working experience preferred.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently, and maintain a professional demeanor.
- Proof of car insurance and a valid driver's license is required.
