Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift

A growing manufacturing company in the West Memphis area is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead its 2nd shift production team. The company is expanding its manufacturing operations and plans to add additional production capacity.

We are looking for a strong, hands-on leader with assembly and/or production manufacturing experience who is comfortable making decisions independently while leading an off-shift operation.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for meeting daily production goals while maintaining strong standards for safety, quality, attendance, productivity, and employee performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise employees in a manufacturing/assembly environment
• Direct daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, and output goals
• Make sound operational and employee-management decisions when senior leadership is not onsite
• Set clear expectations and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, safety, and workplace conduct
• Monitor production flow and respond to equipment, staffing, quality, and other operational issues
• Coach, train, and develop production employees
• Reinforce safety procedures, PPE requirements, quality standards, and company policies
• Coordinate with other shifts and departments to maintain continuity of production
• Maintain a positive, productive work environment while consistently enforcing expectations
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Strong preference for experience supervising production or assembly operations
• Demonstrated experience directly leading hourly production employees
• Strong judgment and ability to make independent decisions
• Ability to remain composed and make thoughtful decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Strong employee-management, coaching, and communication skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and product quality
• Dependable and adaptable to changing production requirements
• Flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour schedule in the future
  
  

Current Schedule

• Monday-Wednesday: 5:00 PM-5:30 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM-5:30 AM
  
  

The company is currently operating under this schedule; however, there is a possibility of transitioning to a rotating 3-on/3-off schedule consisting of 12-hour shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with the current schedule and flexible to support the future rotating schedule.

Compensation

$75,000 annually
